Overview

abhs.in is a personal site run by Abhishek Gautam. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We keep data collection minimal and do not sell your information.

Data we collect

• Email (via Resend): If you subscribe to updates via the blog signup form, we store your email address with Resend for sending newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.
• Analytics (Vercel): We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate metrics (page views, referrers, countries). This does not identify you personally.
• Visit logs (Upstash Redis): When you load a page, we may log a visit record (timestamp, path, referrer, country, user-agent) in Redis for understanding traffic. No names or emails are stored. Logs are retained in limited volume and not used for advertising.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads on blog posts and tools. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. You can learn how Google uses data at Google's partner sites policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings.

Analytics (Vercel): aggregate page views and referrers without personal identification. Session: a first-party cookie may store an anonymous visit ID for traffic analytics. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

Besides advertising cookies described above, session storage may be used for local preferences (e.g. return-visit detection on the homepage). Third-party services (Vercel, Resend, Google) may set their own cookies in accordance with their policies.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability.
